Getting Started:

Welcome to the BTE Canada docs! Here, you can find helpful information that will guide you in your building journey.

Joining the Server:

Our Minecraft server is the main hub where all the building happens in BTE Canada. Our server runs a plugin called TerraPlusMinus, which allows you to teleport anywhere in Canada. You can teleport to your street, teleport to a major downtown, and teleport to significant landmarks.

To join our server, you need to be running on the Java Edition of Minecraft. Current information about versions can be found on the visit page.

Verification:

When you connect, you will be prompted to message the Canada bot a 4 digit code. This is to verify you are not a bot. In our Discord, the Canada bot will display on the top of our user list. Right click the bot, click message and send the 4 digit code. When you rejoin, your account will be verified.

Lobby:

When you first spawn in, you will see the lobby. This is where you will be able to teleport to certain locations and trial areas.

Become a Builder:

To become a builder, there are two methods.

Fast Track:

You can use fast track, which allows you to apply using builds you have completed in other BTE teams.

More information on fast track can be found on our build page.

If you have never built in BTE before, you will have to complete a trial build in our trial area before you unlock build permissions.

Trial Area:

To teleport to our trial area, use the command /trial or use the teleporter at spawn.

When you teleport, you will be shown an in-game tutorial.

To go to the actual trial area, you will need to follow the areas that lead away from the tutorial.

WorldEdit Area:

For future reference, anywhere in the green walls is the only area you are allowed to use WorldEdit/building commands. If you stand outside the area, commands will not work.
